Hyatt Regency Bali Introduces New Beach Cleaning Robot to Boost Sustainability Initiative

This month, the Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali proudly introduced The Hyatt Bebot, a state-of-the-art beach cleaning robot created by SearialCleaners. The implementation of this technology serves as a realization of the resort’s sustainability efforts and is a milestone for Bali and Indonesia as the first ever locations to deploy this kind of advancement.

An electrically powered and remotely operated robot, the Hyatt Bebot is an eco-friendly beach cleaning unit that can efficiently remove plastic and debris from beaches, simultaneously safeguarding local flora and fauna. Operating with precision, the Hyatt Bebot cleans shores without disrupting the delicate beach ecosystem without omitting emissions, because of its electric design.

Hyatt Regency Bali managing director Hervé Mazella stated, “With the Hyatt Bebot, we’re enhancing our sustainability efforts in beach cleaning, offering our guests and community pristine shores while championing environmental preservation.

” In line with Hyatt’s commitment to innovation and hospitality, this technology will be deployed at the Hyatt Regency Bali, Andaz Bali and Grand Hyatt Bali. Guests can look forward to a cleaner, more sustainable coastal experience, reinforcing the resort’s dedication to hotel and environmental stewardship.
