A beach camp in Brighton was cleared by the council this morning, with officials dragging tents away.
It is believed a group of people were living in tents pitched near the i360 tower on the border of Brighton and Hove more than a month ago.
The encampment was finally removed after threats of fines failed to encourage those living on the beach to move on.
Officials from Brighton and Hove City Council pulled the camping gear off the beach and bundled possessions into bin bags.
A council worker said they were engaging with the campers, and it was not safe for them to be on the beach any longer.
