Pinarello Debuts Nytro E 2023 Road Bikes Perfect for Cyclists

The new Nytro E is offered in road and gravel configurations.

Italian bicycle company Pinarello is highly regarded in the world of bicycle racing. Known as an innovator in the world of road cycling racing, the brand continues to pave the way with its newest offerings in the e-bike segment.

The Pinarello Nytro E road bike has been updated for 2023, and is now equipped with the ultra-compact TQ drive system.

Indeed, Pinarello has high regard for his new Nytro E road bike, claiming that the range-topping model in its lineup is the lightest mid-drive electric bike ever, at just 11.4 kilograms.

While I’m sure this claim would be disputed, there’s no denying that 11.4 kilograms is light enough to put some non-electric bikes to shame.

So, how exactly did Pinarello do this? Well, let’s take a closer look.

For starters, Pinarello has taken advantage of TQ’s cutting-edge drivetrain, the TQ-HPR50. The bike weighs just 1.85 kilograms, and when combined with the motor and battery, the total weight is only 3.9 kilograms.

Best of all, the system is capable of a maximum power output of 300 watts and 50 Newton-meters of torque.

Like many electric bicycles designed in Europe, the Nytro E’s pedal assist is limited to 15 miles per hour (24 km/h).

Considering that most serious road riders are able to sustain speeds of over 15 miles per hour on a non-electric bike, the Nytro E should be able to provide quite a range when needed.

What’s the range, to be precise, Pinarello claims up to 62 miles (99 km) on a single charge, and 88 miles (141 km) with the range extender installed.

Electronics aside, the Pinarello Nytro E is as impressive as any bike.

The bike is made from a T900 E9/E9 & T700 E5 UD carbon mix, and is configured in E-Road or E-Gravel settings.

Of course, the lightest setup is the Nytro E9 E-Road bike, and uses Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupste and Most carbon wheels.

Of course this is the most expensive model, and will cost you $ 13,000 USD (Rp 196 million).

The Nytro E7 is a bit more accessible, and comes with the $9,800 USD Ultegra Di2 system.

Meanwhile, an E7 equipped with a Shimano 105 will set you back $7,800 USD (Rp.118 million).

On the E-Gravel side, the Nytro E9 Gravel gets a 1x SRAM drivetrain consisting of the Red AXS system. This bike sells for $ 13,000 USD (Rp. 159 million).

Moving down, the $8,800 USD E7 still impresses with the Force AXS system, and finally, the E5, with SRAM Rival AXS, retails for $7,800 USD.

Underneath all these performance-oriented models, Pinarello hasn’t forgotten the urban rider looking for an all-around bike.

Priced at $6,000 USD, the Pinarelli Nytro E All-Road is equipped with a flat handlebar and commuter-focused amenities like racks and fenders. The bike comes with a SRAM Rival AXS 1x groupset.
