One of the best beaches, maybe in the world, Flamenco Beach, is a captivating paradise with clear skies and white sand beneath your feet. Ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and unwinding, this postcard-ready beach is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves the ocean. You can also explore the island’s natural beauty by hiking through its lush hills and snorkeling among its vibrant coral reefs.

El Escambrón, San Juan

El Escambrón is the most picturesque beach in San Juan and an ideal spot to see the contrast between Old San Juan and the modern city. Recognized with several Blue Flag awards, El Escambrón is a popular destination for swimming, snorkeling, and having a romantic stroll. It is also part of the Tercer Milenio Park, which offers fun recreational activities and services.

Crash Boat is the most popular beach in Aguadilla and a playground for everyone. With a wide range of activities, such as swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing and—during the winter—surfing, this beach is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Just a few feet away is El Natural, a famous diving spot with a huge reef full of marine activity.

La Playuela, Cabo Rojo

Located on the southwestern tip of Puerto Rico, La Playuela is a half-moon-shaped gem that will leave you in awe with its breathtaking waters and scenery. The beach takes a little bit of hiking to get there, but the magnificent dramatic landscape is worth the effort. La Playuela is perfect for either a lazy day under the sun or an adventure exploring the astonishing surroundings.

Domes, Rincon

Located between a lighthouse and Puerto Rico’s inactive nuclear reactor, Domes is a true surfer’s haven. With turquoise waters and golden sand, this beach is an excellent spot for whale watching during the winter. Although it is not a place to go swimming, it is a fun beach to lay back and relax, watch surfing competitions, and even take a horseback riding tour.

Puerto Rico is truly a beach lover’s paradise, with some of the most beautiful and stunning beaches in the world. Whether you’re looking for a lazy day under the sun or an adventure exploring the island’s natural beauty, you’re sure to find a beach that will suit your needs.
