This year features over 25 new light displays, two additional blocks of lights and a new 600-foot LED tunnel, the largest and longest curved LED light tunnel in the U.S. Also new this year is “The Melting Snowman,” a light display inspired by a Virginia Beach elementary school student’s drawing that was selected from over 50 submissions during a contest earlier this year
Beginning on Atlantic Avenue at 21st Street and proceeding South toward Rudee Loop, you’ll follow the signs and have a jolly good time.

Holiday Lights At The Beach runs nightly from Nov. 17, 2023, through Dec. 31, 2023 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. A special “Bike Night” preview will also be held on Thursday, November 16 as well as a “Bike Night Finale” will be on Jan. 1, 2024, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
On Sunday, Dec. 10, the event will also give back to the community by sponsoring a “Food Lion Feeds” night, where non-perishable foods and money will be collected for donation to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. The suggested donation is a minimum of 5 non-perishable food items or $10.
